Boil water for macaroni. Add macaroni, then start cooking.
Prepare shrimp (peel, devein, add juice and zest of 1 lemon, let set in a bowl)

Melt 1 stick of butter over medium heat
4 cloves of garlic, minced – simmer 4 minutes
Turn up heat to med/high add shrimp, and lemon mixture
Bring to a boil, add ½ cup wine, salt & pepper
Cook for 2 minutes. Remove shrimp – cover to keep warm
Add 1/3 cup half & half, rolling boil for 2 minutes – keep stirring – add shrimp back into pan.
Add ¼ cup chopped parsley & 3 lg basil leaves chopped finely (optional)
Stir over heat 15 seconds

Pour macaroni into warm boil, top with shrimp and stir.
