cups water to one pound of red Himalayan rice
Simmer rice for 30 minutes
In a saute pan
melt 2 tablespoons of butter, add 1 small shallot (finely chopped)
cook over medium heat for 2 minutes, then add 1 clove garlic (finely
chopped), salt & pepper and ¼ cup parsley cook for an additional
minute then add to the rice.
